Silicon Valley Mechanical has been participating in Rebuilding Together Silicon Valley for over three years, in 2018 we had the opportunity to rebuild for Housing Choices Coalition. Furthering them in their mission to create quality affordable housing options for people with developmental disabilities—promoting housing stability and safeguarding long-term availability of 250 rental units among 15 properties.

Our volunteers worked tirelessly to completely replace a damaged and unsafe deck, along with painting repainting the majority of the interior of the home. From carefully crafting planter box and a walkway to provide new landscaping for the tenants, building adequate storage in the garage, to replacing smaller items such as bathroom fans and lights – the SVM team covered it all!
